The race named the Heart of the Hills is going to return and all the racers that would like to join it will have a chance to participate. The event is to take place on Oct.10. and will be held with the mission to support two nonprofit organizations called the Bloomfield Hills Optimist Club and Bloomfield Hills Schools. It is a great reason to participate as you will not have a chance to help local children improve their lives as those organizations are engaged in collecting money to spend it on the needs of the kids.

Runners will have a chance to choose between a 5K run/walk and 10K run. Those who will decide to take part in the run will need to come to the new Bloomfield Hills High School, the place where the run will start and end. Attractive residential areas and beautiful hills will accompany runners along all the road. Winners will get high quality medals for 5K and 10K distances. To get registered, you will need to come one hour earlier, at 7 a.m. precisely.

You will get tech T-shirts as well as carry tote bags. There will also be age group awards and refreshments available. It is the greatest way to attract the attention of the community and to get residents united again. Besides, residents will be able to get united with one mission which is helping the kids. The event is not the first one in the area and it was also held in 2010.

Since the event was held in the summer, it lost its steam and the organizations decided to move it to the fall. As a result, they expect more runners to participate in this exciting race. Besides, you can also become a sponsor and if you have such an intention, you can easily email your details to racedirector@heartofthehillsrun.com.
