Hundreds of keen runners enjoyed the beautiful sunshine and fantastic entertainment from the amazing Rock Choir at Miles for Missing People on Saturday 25 May.
The 10K run, which took place on the beautiful Clapham Common on International Missing Children’s Day, highlighted the charity’s 20 years of vital work providing a lifeline for vulnerable missing children, adults and their families. Each runner who took part wore a missing person’s poster on their back, which meant they were not only raising the profile of the charity, but also that of a missing person too.
The crowd cheered in all the participants with the fastest man completing the course in 37min 26sec and fastest woman in 40min 46sec.
Planning has now started for next year’s event and we hope to see you all there for Miles for Missing People 2014!
