Race Photos: 2012 Saltergate Circuit Challenge

Scarborough & Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team held the 2012 Saltergate Circuit Challenge on a sparkling October morning in North Yorkshire.

162 runners entered to run and walk the gruelling course which featured a choice of 16 or 24 miles in the North York Moors of the UK.

The race started with a rendition of “Happy Birthday” for one competitor celebrating their 64th birthday and finished with nine year-old Evie completing the 16 mile circuit in 6 hours and 50 minutes.
