Race Report
We had a fantastic race this weekend! A huge “Thank You” for all your support! With 200 runners, more than 40 Southern Illinois University volunteers, thirteen business sponsors, and several local vendors, Turley Park in Carbondale was bustling with excitement.
With your generous donations, we have already raised $11,000 that directly benefits the orphans and school children in Bangladesh. And…The Event Is Not Over Yet! You can still get pledges and make donations. It is not too late, as the need in Bangladesh is ongoing. We also want to share an inspiring video from Channel 3 news in Southern Illinois that featured For Kids’ Sake as their “Unsung Hero” of the week. They did a great job of capturing the spirit of For Kids’ Sake and this international event.
