Race Report: Sway Carnival 5

Keith Mitchell sent us this report from the Sway Carnival 5:

“A cool but dry summer’s day made it ideal running conditions for the Sway Carnival 5 which kicked off the Runningtree Series 2013. Eastleigh’s Tom Stevens took full advantage of the conditions to win the race with a time of 28.20. Lymington Tri Club’s James Philips finished second (29.00) and Frank Handy of the New Forest Runners was third (29.41). New Forest Runners’ Valeria Sesto was the first lady to finish with a time of 32.09 and 11th overall. Second lady over the line was Louise Dobby (35.37). Last year’s Runningtree Series winner, Eastleigh’s Hayley Payne was third and set down an early marker to her rivals with a time of 38.39”
