The latest on the club runners from Lancaster & Morecambe AC, sent in by Road Captain, Louise Gardner:

The first annual Lancaster Women’s Running Group women only 5k was held last weekend from the Wagon & Horses pub on St.George’s Quay and 85 women turned out to enjoy the event, which was raising money for Barnado’s charity.

Two Lancaster & Morecambe AC runners were taking part; first back was Lou Kippen who had a great run, finishing fourth overall in 23m.30 and super veteran Evelyn Elkington took first veteran 75 place with a good effort of 32m.35 placing her 47th.
