A new run challenge at Polesden Lacey -‐ 10km, 6km and a children’s race. This is a fantastic opportunity to explore all of the less well-‐known areas of the majestic Polesden Lacey estate. From open fields with views over the Surrey countryside, to estate tracks and twisting forest paths, these cross country runs offer real variety -‐ both in terms of scenery and underfoot!
Event Director Jo Wilson said,
“The National Trust’s Polesden Lacey provides a fantastic backdrop to our new event – the ECHO Challenge. Register and give it a go, or come to cheer on friends and family. It’s going to be a great day.”
These 6km and 10km runs will be raising money for Evelina Children’s Heart Organisation (“ECHO”). ECHO provides vital support to children with heart conditions who are treated at the Evelina Children’s Hospital in London and their parents/carers. It is a small, yet dynamic organisation, which plays a crucial role not only in supporting children and young people with serious health issues but also through advocacy and liaison work with the hospital.
