Race-Calendar Newsletter | Week Ending 31st March 2013

Hey Runners,

It’s that funny part of the year where the seasons are turning from cool to warm and vise versa. Here in the land downunder, it’s that awesome time of the year where we still have bright blue skys, sunshine, but with a cool breeze and cool nights. The only thing is…..we know winter is coming, and wet and cold running mornings are just around the corner, as is scraping the mud of the bottom of our running shoes. Conversely, I saw a great photo Helsinki today (about as far away from Australia as you can get), with the snow melting, blue skys, and even in the photos you could see the purpose of the people getting about their business, ready for spring and summer!

One thing is for sure….we all will keep running no matter waht the weather.

OK, so what’s happened in the world of running this week. Some great events took place around the globe. The 9th International Tarsus Half Marathon took place in Turkey, and The Run the Bridge Halton 5 Mile took place, plus a host of other great events around the world.
